Overview

DocsConversion provides free online document conversion tools. This policy explains how uploaded files, technical logs, cookies, advertising and temporary processing are handled when you use the website.

No account required

Users do not need to create an account to use normal conversion tools. DocsConversion does not require usernames, passwords, subscription profiles or payment details for standard conversion.

Uploaded files and conversion processing

When a user uploads a file, the file is temporarily processed to create the requested converted output. The uploaded source file is deleted after conversion. Converted files are kept temporarily so the user can download them, and are then removed by download cleanup or automatic cleanup.

Files are not meant for long-term storage. Automatic cleanup is intended to remove abandoned converted files and reduce unnecessary retention after a conversion is complete.

File contents

DocsConversion does not sell uploaded files. Uploaded files are processed to provide the requested conversion. Document contents are not used for advertising targeting by DocsConversion.

If third-party conversion providers are ever added in the future, this policy should be updated before those providers are used for file processing.

Server logs and technical data

Like most websites, DocsConversion may collect technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, requested URLs, time and date of requests, error logs, conversion status metadata, file size, file type and security or abuse-prevention events.

This information is used for security, debugging, service stability, abuse prevention and performance monitoring. Logs should not intentionally include document contents.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use essential browser storage or cookies for basic functionality, security, preferences, consent management or advertising. DocsConversion should not be described as a no-cookie website because advertising and consent tools may rely on cookies or similar technologies.

Advertising and Google AdSense

DocsConversion may display advertising to support the free service. Advertising partners, including Google AdSense if enabled, may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and consent-based personalization where applicable.

Users in some regions may be shown a consent message to manage advertising preferences. Personalized advertising, where available, may depend on consent settings and applicable law.

Consent and regional privacy choices

Where legally required, users may be asked to provide consent for advertising cookies or personalized ads. Users may be able to adjust choices through the consent banner or through browser settings.

Security

DocsConversion uses HTTPS/TLS where available to protect data during transfer. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but the site is designed around temporary processing and limited file retention.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for making sure they are allowed to upload and process files. Very sensitive, confidential, medical, financial, legal, corporate or restricted documents should be handled according to the user's own policies and legal requirements.

Children's privacy

DocsConversion is not directed at children. If required by law, children should use the service only with appropriate permission or supervision.

Third-party services

The website may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, advertising, security, fonts or infrastructure if configured. These providers may process technical data according to their own policies.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated as the service changes. Users should review it periodically to understand current file handling, logging, cookie and advertising practices.
